Situated in a Highland village of Contin , Strathpeffer in the heart of Scotland ideally situated for Loch Ness , the Cairngorms and Isle of Skye.
This is really a special place with our site situated next to the river
Blackwater and some of the Munro mountains almost on the doorstep,
with great fishing , hiking and mountain biking in close proximity . Everyone
is drawn to the river here , not only to watch our local Heron who loves to
fish on our stretch of the river but also to enjoy paddling and even
swimming .We have now also had a visit from an otter and this has
been spotted by a few of our campers already.
Also, In the sky you will almost inevitably see the majestic Red Kites
soaring above you with their distinctive markings . A wild cat has also been
tagged and released by a Nature group.
There are good mountain bike trails starting just over the road from the
campsite and Bike rental is available in Strathpeffer at Square Wheels. The famous Strathpuffer 24 hour mountain bike event takes place every January
Our self catering lodges and campsite is in the highland village of Contin
next to the local store, and about 18 miles from Inverness and Loch Ness .
There are regular buses to the village from Inverness and with a bus stop just outside the
site for those of you that do not have a car or want to leave their car
behind
We have a variety of accommodation options for your perfect Scottish

bungalows , caravan and Camping site . We can also offer Lundavra a
larger property within walking distance of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle , a
true Loch Ness self catering experience .

The holiday park is adjacent to the well stocked local grocery shop. The village also has a garage. Restaurants are available in Strathpeffer

treatments ,such as reflexology , Reiki, and metamorphic technique and
Harmonyum. The Harmonyum to be booked in advance when booking your
accommodation.
This is a prefect location for hiking , biking , fishing and climbing ,or just
relaxing at the River .
